Waste card
The waste card can be used as a ‘key’ to open the underground residual-waste containers which is assigned to your address. By using the waste card, the amount of residual waste is equally divided among the available containers. The use of the waste card is free of charge, the amount of waste will not be registered.
Conditions
Each household receives one waste card only. The waste card is made up of two parts. These can be separated and one part can be attached to your key ring. Both parts work for the underground residual-waste containers in you area, Amstelveen North or Amstelveen south. The waste card belongs to the house/apartment flat, just like mini-containers. The waste card must therefore be left behind in the house/apartment flat when you move out. If you do not find a waste card in the new house or appartement flat, please order a waste card through this website.’
Apply for a waste card
You can apply for a waste card on the page Afvalpas ondergrondse container. Applying for a new waste card is temporarily free of charge. Please be aware that this page is not in English.
