Caregiver's parking permit
A caregiver’s permit is a parking permit that allows a caregiver to park in your own vicinity, if this is in an area where paid parking applies. This is a parking permit for residents who require informal care. The registration of license plate numbers of caregivers is done through mijn2Park.

Conditions for use
- The permit is valid for one year and can be renewed.
- The permit only applies to the area in which you live.
- You can link up to five number plates of caregivers to your permit.
- Only two number plates may be active at the same time.
Conditions for applying
- You have a WMO-indication for care at home or assistance. Or you have a declaration of a doctor stating you require informal care.
How to apply
Applying
You can apply for a caregiver’s parking permit online at the E-Loket.
Are you unable to apply online? Then you can apply for the permit at the counter by making an appointment.
You will need:
- your DigiD (for online applications); or
- proof of identification (for applications at the counter);
- a WMO-indication for care at home or assistance, or a signed declaration from a doctor;
- a copy of the license registration (‘kentekenbewijs’) of the caregiver’s vehicle.
Renewal
If you wish to renew the permit after the first year, is possible to set up a direct debit payment. By setting up a direct debit, permits are automatically renewed.
There are two ways to set up a direct debit:
- Download the direct debit mandate at the E-Loket. You can upload the authorized mandate there as well.
- Fill in a direct debit mandate form at the counter.
Registering license plate numbers with mijn2Park
Creating an account
When using mijn2park for the first time, you will need to create a free user account on the website of mijn2park. Take the following steps:
- Log in to the E-Loket.
- Confirm your email address.
- You will receive an email with a verification number. Fill in the number on the Digitaal Parkeerloket website and confirm
- Go to ‘current products’, click ‘mantelzorgvergunning’ or and then click ‘Send 2Park link e-mail’.
- Open the email you receive in your mailbox and click the link in the mail.
- Fill in your personal password twice, confirm and your account is activated.
- Log in at the mijn2Park website using your email address and personal password.
Register and deregister your caregiver’s license plates
You must always register and deregister your caregiver’s license plate numbers. Take the following steps:
- Go to the website of mijn2Park and log in using your email address and password.
- Fill in the license plate number of your caregiver.
- Enter the starting date and time.
- Enter the ending date and time.
Costs
The annual cost of a caregiver’s parking permit for healthcare providers is € 40,-. You pay for the permit upon applying.
You will not receive a refund if you cancel the permit, when you move to an area outside of the paid parking zones or in the event of death.
Term
An online application will be processed on the same business day.
An application made at the counter will be processed while you wait.
