Visitor's parking permit
Do you live in an area with paid parking? Then you can arrange parking for your visitors using mijn2Park. You can register your visitors using the website or by phone. In order to use mijn2park, you will need a visitor’s parking permit.
Conditions
- You can apply for a visitor’s parking permit if you live in a paid parking area within Amstelveen.
- The permit will not be valid in parking areas 17, 30 and 40. For more information see the overview of parking areas in Amstelveen.
- You can top up the credit for the visitor's parking permit with a maximum of € 200,- a year (running from 1 January to 31 December).
Application
You can apply for the visitor’s parking permit online at the E-Loket. Log in using your DigiD.
Are you unable to apply online? Then you can apply for the visitor’s parking permit at the City Hall by making an appointment. Bring a valid ID.

Register your visitor(s)
You can register up to five license plate numbers at a time. For the area of 1-Oost you can register up to a maximum of two license plate numbers.
Create an account with mijn2park to register visitors
When using mijn2park for the first time, you will need to create a free user account on the website of mijn2park. Take the following steps:
- Log in to the E-Loket with your DigiD.
- Confirm your email address.
- You will receive an email with a verification number. Fill in the number on the Digitaal Parkeerloket website and confirm
- Go to ‘current products’, click ‘bezoekersvergunning’ and then click ‘Send 2Park link e-mail’.
- Open the email you receive in your mailbox and click the link in the mail.
- Fill in your personal password twice, confirm and your account is activated.
- Log in at the mijn2Park website using your email address and personal password. From now on you can register your visitors’ cars.
Register visitors using the website
You can register visitors at the mijn2Park website.
Take the following steps:
- Go to the website of mijn2Park and log in with your email address and password.
- Fill in the license plate number of your visitor. You can register up to five license plate numbers at a time.
- Fill in the starting time and ending time.
- Fill in the starting date and ending date.

You can also register your visitors by phone. Please have your personal account number ready and call (088) 002 42 08.

Register visitors at the parking machine
You can also continue to use the parking machine outside to register your visitors.
Change of home address or ending the permit
- If you move to an address within Amstelveen in a different parking area, the permit moves with you to your new address. The permit will be transferred to your new address. You will receive a message about this from the municipality.
- The permit will be withdrawn if you move to an address in Amstelveen that does not have paid parking or to another municipality.
- You will not be eligible for a refund when the permit is being ended before it expires.
Costs
Cost of visitor's parking permit
The visitor’s parking permit costs € 10,-. You need to pay this upon applying. The € 10,- will be added as credit to your account. You can use this credit to register the license plate numbers of your visitors.
Cost of parking for visitors
It costs € 0,25 per hour for your visitors to park in the street, for a maximum of 12 hours per registration.
Cost of parking in parking area 1-Oost
The visitor’s parking permit for parking area 1-Oost costs € 50,-. You need to pay this upon applying. The € 50,- will be added as credit to your account. You can use this credit to register the license plate numbers of your visitors.
It costs € 0,05 per hour for your visitors to park in the street, for a maximum of 12 hours per registration.
Term
An online application will be processed the same day. An application at the city hall will be processed while you wait.

How do I top up my parking credit?
Log in at the mijn2Park website using your email address and personal password. Click the ‘Top up’ button in the upper left corner of your screen and select an amount of € 10,-, € 20,- or € 50,-.
You make your payment using iDEAL. You can also visit the Amstelveen city hall to increase your parking credit (pay with your bank card).
How do I log out?
Click the 'Menu' button in the upper left corner of your screen, then click 'Logout'.
How do I add mijn2Park to my smartphone?
Visit the mijn2Park website by smartphone. Tick the square icon with the arrow (bottom screen) and then tick 'put on main screen'. You will now see the web address. Select ‘add' and it’s done!
How do I add mijn2park as a favourite on my smartphone?
Visit the mijn2Park website using your smartphone and tick the square icon with the arrow (bottom screen) and then tick ‘add to favourites'. If you like, change the name to 'register visitor' and tick 'save'.
When do I use my visitors passes?
You can use a maximum of five visitors passes. But you will only need them when you want to register your visitors' vehicles at the parking machine. By using the mijn2Park website you will be able to register up to five cars without needing visitors passes.
