Medical care for Ukrainian refugees now available at the Kronenburg General Practice (Huisartsenpraktijk Kronenburg)
Starting on May 25 2022, medical care for Ukrainian refugees will be provided by general practitioners at the Kronenburg General Practice. This service is for all Ukrainian refugees in Amstelveen, including those staying with host families.
Next week, all refugees will receive a letter to inform them that they are being registered at the Kronenburg General Practice. In case they need the services of a general practi-tioner, they can call a special number for Ukrainian refugees (0850 - 4807 18). An Ukrainian and English speaking Ukrainian doctor, who works as a doctor's assistant at the prac-tice, will be answering the phone.
The Ukrainian doctor's assistant will give you initial advice over the phone and make an appointment with the general practitioner, if necessary. The Kronenburg general practitioner and the Ukrainian speaking doctor’s assistant work together. Part of the time they work in the Kronenburg practice, and part of the time in the Adagio hotel.
