Waste tag
The waste tag can be used as a ‘key’ to open the underground residual-waste containers which is assigned to your address. Previously, you used a waste card for this purpose.
The use of the waste tag is free of charge, the amount of waste will not be registered.
Conditions
Each household received two waste tags. The waste tags belongs to the house/apartment flat, just like mini-containers. The waste tags must therefore be left behind in the house/apartment flat when you move out. If you do not find a waste tag in the new house or appartement flat, please order a waste tag through this website.
Replacement or extra waste tag
Have you lost your waste tag? You are able to request a replacement set of waste tags online for € 18,96. Please be aware that this page is in Dutch. It is not possible to request one waste tag or extra sets. The set of your current waste tags will be blocked after you request a new set tags.
Companies
Companies cannot apply for the waste tag. They can contact the municipality to talk about the use of the underground residual-waste containers for companies. Please call (020) 540 49 11.
The waste tag and your privacy
The city has set down a number of basic principles in order to guarantee your privacy with respect to the use of the waste tag for households.
