The introduction of paid parking isn’t something the City does for fun. It’s about liveability, security and accessibility. The streets get less crowded. And there will be more parking space available for residents. But it’s going to cost money. For parking with permit in Amstelveen, you pay 40 euro per year. That’s equivalent to 3,35 euro per month. And with that, the City of Amstelveen applies one of the lowest parking rates in the country.
